The City of Tarpon Springs has budgeted $1,000,000 dedicated to improving the Sponge Docks and Dodecanese Boulevard. How this money will be used to transform the area is up to you. Please participate in this community outreach project and help us shape the future of the Sponge Docks for generations to come!
| The Sponge Docks working waterfront tourist district is one of Florida's
most unique attractions located on Dodecanese Boulevard, a pleasant
two-lane road paralleling the Anclote River. A large assortment of shops,
restaurants, bakeries and other gathering places are also found here.
With a rich mix Greek heritage, culture and old-world charm, the Sponge
Docks offers visitors an experience that is different from any other destination in the Tampa Bay area. Learn more |

part of this project are sidewalks, benches, trash receptacles, etc. These
